Yes, in most cases you will need council approval to place a shed. Once your deposit has been paid we will submit your plans to your local government authority or provide you the engineering details of your building to do it yourself. The basic construction of your shed will start, awaiting notification in writing that your council has provided approval. A final payment will be required once your shed has been constructed and is ready for delivery. If the building is not approved your deposit will be refunded in full on notification of refusal from the council.

We will dispatch your shed as soon as the final payment has been received from one of our many manufactured locations around Australia. Delivery charges will apply and will vary dependent on your location. You should receive your shed in 4 or 5 weeks from the initial payment.

We will try to let you know how much delivery of your shed will be when you place your order but it can vary depending on the location of the site. Sometime it may only be possible to deliver to a depot of your choice depending on where you require your building.

All our kits are Australian made and we use Bluescope genuine Zincalume ® and Colorbond® high tensile steel. These materials are covered with a 15 year manufactures warranty.

According to the BCA (Building Code of Australia) a shed is usually determined to be a Class 10 building (Non-habitable building or structure). Boomer Sheds can assist you in converting your shed to a Class 1 building (habitable dwelling) meaning you’ll have the assurance that the building is certified to enjoy living in.

Not necessarily, as we have manufacturing yards right across the country. Whatever your state may be, your building will be manufactured and delivered out of that state.
